Through The Lens aims to address what Sonia Boyce describes as “mass systemic amnesia”, through a series of inter-generational conversations between Black British photographers. Conversations between early/mid career photographers with those decades into their practice, opening space to share journeys into craft, similarities as well as differences in process, references and reflections of our history and culture.

A short cut of the conversations is currently on view at Adobe Creative Residents on Display at the V&A Museum till November 2026
